USING YOUR LEFTOVERS

Hi,   It's Honor here, and today I want to show you some ways to use your left overs or scraps of paper, allowing you to get the most use out of your gorgeous papers.   I had a lot of scrap pieces of Kaisercraft's Base Coat range.  I love this range so much, that I couldn't bring myself to throw away any of the scraps !!   I decided to make a few gift tags using the left over pieces, and by adding a few flowers, and some embellishments, I now have gift cards ready for anytime I might need one.  

Even after making these gift tags, I had more left over scraps, so I decorated this Kraft gift bag as well.  There's always plenty of things you can do with your scraps - what do you like to do with yours??

THANK YOU PAPER BAG CARD BY SARA

Today I wanted to share my second Design Team Project using Molossi Chipboard... I love these designs, they are so easy to alter and take mediums well... I made this Mother's Day card its called a Paper Bag Card.. I made it from a simple brown paper bag... I like that you get a lot of space and pockets to tuck things into.. I created this for my mum so I wanted it to be as special as she is to me... I have used Kaisercraft Hidden Treasures Paper collection and the matching collectables I have used this throughout the whole card.. I have distressed all the edges, layered and masked using homemade texture paste.. I then started to cluster the middle using Kaisercraft flowers, Flowers , diecuts, Metal, lace and bling After that I altered my chipboard using Chalk Inks and Viva Décor Inka Gold in Gold.. I have used for this card the Fluer De lis, Thank You title , Love hearts and Cupids chipboard from Molossi they are the cutest designs... After that I then went over the whole piece with Viva Décor Inka Gold in Gold think it just finishes the project off I like to go around edges of paper, texture in the chipboard and also the edges of my flowers...    

Inside Page 1:

I have created a pocket using the Brown paper bag and decorated it using the same papers.. I have added a heart and small doily to make it stand off the page.. I wanted the pocket to be a photo matt I have stamped, embellished and layered it on the one side.. On the other I have added a picture that was taken at my 21st birthday.. The photo matt can be removed if needed too..

I have kept this page simple this is for me to write my personal message.. I have again layered paper, diecuts, stamped "Happy Mother's Day", flat flowers, butterfly, floral flourish and collectable... I decided instead of having a big pocket on the side panel I would stick it all together..

On the chipboard I just went over them with gesso then heat set let it bubble , chalk inks blended with my finger and went over the edges &bumps with Viva Décor Inka Gold In Gold

      

NUTS ABOUT YOU BY SARA

  Hey guys its Sara today I wanted to share my first Design Team Project for Molossi...

I have made this layout of close family friends using Molossi awesome chipboard... I wanted it to be something special for my first ever layout for Molossi so I tried my hardest and I am so proud of how it all turned out...     For the background I have used a number of Lindys Stamp Gang sprays , Ranger Dylusions, masks and texture paste, stamping and textures..

 

I have used Kaisercraft's paper collect On This Day and 75 Cents... Once I had my background complete I started layering my photo mat, tulle and fussy cut flowers..

The flowers are most made but there is some Kaisercraft sage flowers mixed in there. Once my cluster was complete with a lot of fiddling I then added my chipboard from Molossi.. I have used the gorgeous Fleur de Lis and the Numbers up in the left hand corner which stands for the years they have been together... Be Card by Dana Tatar - May Mood Board Challenge

Hi! Dana Tatar here today sharing a card that I created for the Molossi May Mood Board Challenge. I used a piece of Kaisercraft patterned paper, Manor House Creations flowers and Dylusions Ink Spray.

I covered this gorgeous piece of Molossi Chipboard with embossing powder. I think "Be" is a great word to have on the front of this card. When I do give this card to someone special, it will be easy to personalize the message further on the inside of the card.

I'm always on the lookout for orange rhinestones. I embellished this butterfly with Molossi Sticky Bling.

MISSING HOLIDAYS???

Good Morning, Rikki here, sad that school holidays are over, not so much sad about the fighting between or the grunts from a pre-teen, or the dobbing from the middle child or the squeal, screaming thing that only girls can do!!! I like not having to do the school drop off or pick ups, the mad dash to do what you need to while you only have 1 child instead of three!!! 

So today I thought some reminiscing of Summer holidays was needed.

You cant go past a template like Kasiercraft 12x12 Bubble to add interest to a neutral background, you can mist or ink it, whatever takes your fancy.  

I love the Manorhouse Creations Poetry Bronze flowers for a neutral background also dont throw out your pizza box when you get a delivery, you can use it for the mounting of the photo, just pick away at it to expose the corrugated cardboard.

I am not a Project Lifer per-say but I do love the new Kaisecraft Captured Moments 3"x 4" Cards - Snapshot for instant titles and background pieces to add behind your photos, also you can use them to make banners for your layout.

SPECIAL TIMES

Hello everyone,   It's been a great couple of days here for crafting, the sun is hiding, and I'm here to share with you my latest card.  

I've made this card using Kaisercraft's Base Coat range, which I love working with.  This card could be used for any number of occasions.

The base of the card is made from brown cardstock, and cut into a fancy fold card.  This was fun to make, and very easy.

I've embellished the card using Flourish with A Bling, Green Tara Paper String and Butterfly Critters.

I've also highlighted the bricks in the paper, by cutting out individual bricks, distressing the edges, and foam mounting them on the front of the card.

The star of this card is the gorgeous flower from Manorhouse

that I have highlighted the centre with "Ice Blue" Stickles, and the sentiment is a Paper Xtra rub-on.

KAISERCRAFT - BASE COAT

 
Hi, it's Honor here and today I'm sharing a card I've made from Kaisercraft's "Base Coat" collection, showing you that you can make a card from just one piece of paper.  

The base of the card is brown cardstock, and the remainder of the card is made from Kaisercraft's Base Coat "Whitewash".  I've used both sides of the paper, and layered the card, distressing the edges.  This paper is so versatile, and makes great male cards, that I sometimes struggle with.   The paper string is from Green Tara, and Flourish With A Bling is Pewter "Grace".   The metal flower and leaf is from my stash, and suited the paper perfectly.   Thanks for stopping by, Honor xo
