CHERISH BY CATHI

Hi! Cathi here with a new project! This week I wanted to feature more of the gorgeous Manor House "Believe" paper collection and gorgeous flowers along with  the yummy Molossi chipboards, all carried in the Molossi retail and wholesale shops!

I used the gorgeous Lampost #3 chipboard piece for this layout. I inked it with Black Soot Distress Ink then took my Lilac Gold Gilding Wax and you can see the amazing metallic golden sheen this adds to your chipboard!

The second piece of Molossi chipboard I used is the Cherished word chippie. Again it was inked in black and I used the Lilac Gold Gilding Wax to highlight it.

I used tons of Manor House flowers on my layout here you can see a Black Ballerina Flower from the Classic Mix. The grey flowers are from the Minuettes Pink Mix.  The large purple and smaller lilac flowers are from the Razzles Card pack in purple.

The papers I used are from the Manor House Believe paper collection. I used the Us Together paper for the base of my layout. For my fussy cut butterfly I placed on my flower cluster, I used an image from the Elements Cards paper.

SOME ART NOUVEAU INSPIRATION

Here is what Cathi says about creating this beautiful card:

I love to use vintage images on my cards and just love the art nouveau of artist Mucha!  I had a few images printed out waiting to be used, so I made my own card background for this one using several gorgeous stamps from my stash.

To start, I had a 5 inch square piece of white card. I stamped my standby favourite Visible Image script stamp Bronte Script with Sepia Archival Ink. Looking at my image I took the orange from it and inked the white card with Spiced Marmelade Distress Ink.  I then took some new to me, Gelatos by Faber Castell and used my Harlequin background stamp to stamp the blue snow cone colour gelato onto my background, I loved the faded watercolour look that this gave the design!  I edged the card with some Walnut Stain Distress Ink.

I added some blue flowers and a Molossi Fleur de Lis chipboard which I coloured with the blue gelato to embellish the card and then finished it off with my gorgeous new Once Upon a Time stamp!  I added some gorgeous Molossi orange paper flowers and Molossi bling.

HAPPILY EVER AFTER MANOR HOUSE BELIEVE PAPER COLLECTION FROM MOLOSSI

Hi Everyone, Marelle back again with some more Manor House inspiration from Cathi.
This week I wanted to create a layout using the gorgeous new Manorhouse Believe paper collection
and some of their new flower releases.  I chose some chipboard from Molossi to help create it.

The chipboard doves here I covered in gesso first, then added some glass bead gel, finally covering them with the script stamping.  Here in this photo you can see all the gorgeous Manor House flowers I added:Ballerina Flowers - Classic MixConcerto FlowersMinuettes - Pink Mix.  The two papers I used came from the yummy Believe collection from Manor House  : Take a Chance and Lace.

In this photo you can see where I took some more of my new gelatos from Faber Castell and used them to stamp a harlequin background.  The title of my layout is the Happily Ever After stamp.  The ultra cool Molossi filmstrip chipboard was coloured with Black Soot Distress Ink and I used it as a base to build my flower cluster.
For finishing details I added some gorgeous Prima metal embellishments and bark hearts.  I had a great time making this wedding layout!  Molossi carries some amazing products in both their retail and wholesale shops.  Hope you come take a look!

Thanks Cathi - an amazingly beautiful layout of Mr and Mrs Cathi!!!!!
